MINNESOTA STATE PATROL ACCIDENT RECONSTRUCTION SCHOOL. This was a two week course instructed by Myron J. Lofgren and R. Scott McAllen. It consisted of classroom instruction in derivations and use of speed formulas, project work, and five hours of field exercises testing skid marks, scuff marks and vault speed formulas.

MINNESOTA STATE PATROL ACADEMY. Sixteen weeks training, including 120 hours of ON-SCENE ACCIDENT INVESTIGATION and ADVANCED ACCIDENT INVESTIGATION.

Work Experience

Member of MINNESOTA STATE PATROL from 1978 - 1989. I have personally investigated over 650 accidents involving property damage, personal injuries and fatalities. I have assisted other troopers and law enforcement agencies with accident reconstructions on numerous occasions.

I have given accident reconstruction expert testimony in state and federal courts in: Alabama, Iowa, Missouri, Nebraska, South Dakota, Wisconsin, Florida, Minnesota, North Dakota, Tennessee, Wyoming

I have also testified at six Grand Jury hearings involving motor vehicle accidents.

Accident Reconstruction Consultant for LOFGREN ASSOCIATES, INC., Elk River, Minnesota. I have consulted on over 2300 traffic accident cases with Lofgren Associates, Inc.

Specialized expertise with commercial vehicle accidents. I have done post-crash inspections and investigations in over 115 large truck accidents.
